ELIXIR Hub is sharing the current draft of the BFSP strategy for ELIXIR wide comments. The current version of the strategy was put together by BFSP co-leads, thanks to ELIXIR members' input via meetings, workshops and offline activities.

ELIXIR is collaborating with the Metaproteomics Initiative to advance multi-omics microbiome research through their global network of metaproteomics experts. The Initiative promotes knowledge sharing, education, and standardisation in the field. This collaboration allows ELIXIR to tap into the Initiatives expertise to better integrate metaproteomics into microbiome studies for a more comprehensive view of microbiome functioning.
Seven projects with links to ELIXIR feature in the 58 projects funded by the first OSCARS open call. OSCARS is an EU-funded project which aims to bring together leading research infrastructures to strengthen open science in Europe. It runs two open calls with a total budget of 16 million.

ELIXIR All Hands 2025 is 2-5 June 2025 in Thessaloniki, Greece. The call for for workshops is now open.
Proposed workshops should build connections between different areas of ELIXIR, encouraging groups to participate and engage with the work.
