ELIXIR has published it industry strategy (pdf). The Strategy contains five key objectives to address the needs of industry and SMEs in 'big data biology'.

The ELIXIR Industry Advisory Committee held their Autumn teleconference, providing the opportunity for the committee to review ongoing activities and future plans for engagement with Industry.
Thanks to those who have submitted abstracts to the ELIXIR Application Track at ECCB 2016. We have received 48 abstracts, which are now being reviewed by ELIXIR's F1000R Editorial Board. Authors will be notified of the outcome of the selection process in June 2016.
The ELIXIR Data Platform is accepting proposals for Implementation Studies to start in 2018. The deadline for applications of 31 October.
The first call for ELIXIR Staff Exchange Programme is now open. The purpose is to support exchange of staff between ELIXIR Nodes for short periods of time.
An update to the ELIXIR Handbook of Operations is now available on the intranet. This comprehensive document sets out the various guides, policies and operational procedures within ELIXIR.
