Expression of Interest for Human Data Communities Steering Group
ELIXIR would like to invite an Expression of Interest for funding four Members for the Human Data Communities Steering Group to support the development of the ELIXIR strategy, ensuring alignment of external and internal projects for the area of Human Data and Translational Research as outlined in the ELIXIR Programme 2024-2028.
Interested individuals are asked to express their interest by completing the form below by Friday, 8 December 2023 (17:00 CET). Selections will be made by 18 December 2023. For any questions, please contact Serena Scollen

WikiPathways is an open-source biological pathway database. Collaboration and open science are pivotal to the success of WikiPathways. Here the authors highlight the continuing efforts supporting WikiPathways, content growth and collaboration among pathway researchers. As an evolving database, there is a growing need for WikiPathways to address and overcome technical challenges. In this direction, WikiPathways has undergone major restructuring, enabling a renewed approach for sharing and curating pathway knowledge, thus providing stability for the future of community pathway curation.

ISAS and de.NBI/ELIXIR-DE Skyline course 2024
4-7 March 2024 | Dortmund, Germany
ISAS and de.NBI are organising a four-day course in 2024 on the use of the Skyline programme for proteomics and metabolomics, lipidomics and glycomics. The course is aimed at people who are already familiar with the open-source software and at researchers with no prior knowledge.

Connections at CoRDI for data stewardship, training, and for TDCC-LSH
The outputs of the ELIXIR-CONVERGE Training & Capacity Building Work Package (WP2) have been presented at CoRDI2023, the first Conference on Research Data Infrastructures, organised by NFDI. Celia van Gelder, the Training Programme Manager of ELIXIR-NL wrote a blog post on the experience of connecting data stewardship and training with the community at CoRDI.
