Hub updates

Cyprus has today joined ELIXIR as an Observer country. The ELIXIR Node in Cyprus will be formed by the Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics, the University of Cyprus, and the Agricultural Research Institute.

The ELIXIR Board approved Cyprus's application during an extraordinary Board meeting taking place today in Barcelona, Spain.

Hub updates

The registration for ELIXIR Innovation and SME Forum in Frankfurt is now open. The event will take place on 15-16 October in Frankfurt, Germany, and will focus on data-driven innovation in industrial biotechnology.

ELIXIR is holding a special session on sustainability of Life Science data resources at the ISMB 2018 Conference in Chicago, USA. Tuesday 10 July at 8.35 local time.

The High Level Expert Group (EOSC) on EOSC has published its Putting EOSC into Practice report, which features ELIXIR as an EOSC in Practice Story. The HLEG is also running public consultations on the Rules of Participation and FAIR data. Both close on 5 August.
