Hub updates

A reminder that the Call for the ELIXIR Poster track at the ECCB 2016 will close 22 July 2016. All ELIXIR members are encouraged to submit their posters.

Updates from Use cases

Stephen Keenan (EMBL-EBI) will present an update on the Global Alliance for Genomics and Health (GA4GH) Data Working Group and API as part of the ELIXIR Webinar series this Wednesday 20th of July, 15.00 CEST.

Updates from Platforms

Bio.tools, the ELIXIR Tools and Data Service Registry was presented by members of the ELIXIR Tools Platform at the Intelligent Systems for Molecular Biology (ISMB 2016) conference in Orlando, Florida last week as part of the Technology Track Presentations. A Workshop 'Reproducibility, standards and SOP in bioinformatics' will be hosted by ELIXIR-ITA Node in Rome, Italy on the 25-26 October 2016. The workshop will be preceded by a GOBLET/ELIXIR-ITA Tutorial and a ELIXIR Hacktahon on Monday 24th.
