Ireland has become the latest country to join ELIXIR. ELIXIR's Membership now stands at 19, and set to expand further in coming weeks when Germany becomes a Member.
Platform updates
The TeSS team has released the production version of the ELIXIR Training Portal: TeSS. It contains more than 3,000 training resources from 22 content providers. ELIXIR website now features new Compute page, listing ELIXIR compute and cloud services run by ELIXIR Nodes. ELIXIR AAI documentation page is now available on the ELIXIR website.

ELIXIR Italy is hosting CHARME - EMBnet and NETTAB 2016 Workshop on 25-26 October 2016 in Rome. The event is preceded by ELIXIR Bioinformatics hacktahon and GOBLET/ELIXIR-Italy Training tutorial on Monday 24 October. Institut Franu00e7ais de Bioinformatique (ELIXIR France) is holding a workshop in metagenomics in Paris, 12-16 Sept 2016 and a metabolomics course in Galaxy Insfrastructure in Roscoff, 28 Nov-2 Dec 2016.
