ELIXIR has established a workig group to bring forward software development practices in life sciences. Working in collaboration with the Software Sustainability Institute, the group aims to develop a set of good practices for developing software in life science research, open source software policy proposal and a set of metrics to monitor and evaluate the best practices.
The kick off meeting of the working group takes place on 14 December in Amsterdam. Representatives from life science and biomedical research infrastuctures are especially invited to attend.
