A Dutch, national consortium, led by Prof. Juliette Legler (University Utrecht), Cyrille Krul (HU) en Anne Kienhuis (RIVM) and including DTL and various DTL partners, has received 11 million euro in funding to develop a virtual human platform for risk assessment.

A summary of the Technical/Training Coordinators virtual meeting

23-25 November 2020

First day
The Training Coordinators evaluated the achievements of the four Tasks of the 2020 Training Platform work plan 2020, the implementation studies, the working groups and focus groups and the interactions with external projects and communities.

Second day
The Training Platform discussed the draft work plan 2022-23 and a writing team was initiated. The Technical Coordinators presented Nodes updates and reviewed COVID-19 activities.

Third day
The Technical and Training Coordinator groups joined to present topics of common interest. The Training Platform presented the Focus Groups (Machine Learning and FAIR Training), lessons learned from redesigning training for online delivery (by ELIXIR-PT), and the collaboration and interaction of the two groups

Galaxy organises a Global 5day Course

This online event will span across all time zones. All training sessions are pre-recorded, so you can work through them at your own pace, and manage your own time. A large community of GTN trainers will be available to answer all your queries.
The program covers a general introduction to the Galaxy platform, NGS Analysis (DNA-seq and RNA-seq), Proteomics, and also features a Choose-your-own-adventure day.
