The Compute Platform ensures that European compute, cloud and storage services meet the needs of life scientists. It adapts to evolving European regulations on health-data processing and takes advantage of growing national and international cloud capacities. This work is vital for managing large and complex datasets from biodiversity, food security, pathogen and human-data domains. By developing capability for federated and multi-cloud computing, the Platform builds on existing services such as Life Science Login and seeks sustainable operational models for the long term.
