The ELIXIR Galaxy Community meeting will take place on Wednesday, 1 October 2025, from 09:00 to 17:30 CEST, during the European Galaxy Days (EGD) 2025. This meeting is planned as a hybrid event, with the face-to-face component hosted at the Albert-Ludwigs-University Freiburg, Germany.
In this meeting, Community members will share the latest developments in Galaxy, including Galaxy 25.0 features, AI-powered data analysis tools, data landing pages, workflow FAIRification, and integration with RSpace and eLabFTW. The programme will also highlight national instance updates, new Special Interest Groups in Digital Humanities and Machine Learning, and collaborative initiatives with EOSC and other European infrastructures. Participants will discuss opportunities for training, outreach, and joint projects, including upcoming funding calls and cross-community collaborations. The meeting will feature presentations, lightning talks, and opportunities for participant engagement.
The meeting has a limit on in-person attendees, with no limit on virtual participation. In-person attendance is limited and will be confirmed after registration. Selected participants may receive funding, with details on reimbursement provided after confirmation. Please wait until you have received this confirmation before booking travel. Those attending in person are responsible for arranging their own travel and accommodation.
Travel and accommodation
Once notified of your F2F attendance, you will be expected to make your own travel and accommodation arrangements to the venue. Reimbursement information will be provided to invited attendees after successful registration.
